I am Dr.Anjali Singh, an ardent follower and practitioner of Ayurveda, I owe my strong and steady roots in Ayurvedic principles to my genealogy. With a keen interest in the same field, I took up formal education and graduated in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from the Banaras Hindu University. I am passionate about plant medicine and hence pursued my interests in this field to do my master’s degree in plant medicine. To gain further insights in this field, I enrolled as Senior Resident in the Department of Dravyaguna and secured my doctorate in Ayurvedic Pharmacology. Both my Phd. and Post-Graduation involved creating a new herbal drug for Vulvovaginitis & Wound Healing, working to get both drug patented. Throughout my academic career, I had the good fortune to be closely associated and ably guided by many exemplary teachers. To sum it up, though Ayurveda flowed down to me naturally, it is indeed the able tutelage of many legendary teachers in this university that has made me what I am today.
Due to this enriched learning experience, and service mindedness towards humanity, I have been able to provide relief to many patients, for many ailments. I specialize in treatment of wounds (diabetic, venous and pressure ulcers), allergy problems, gynaecological problems and infertility related issues respiratory diseases, skin diseases, gut (digestive issues) related problems .
I also have knowledge of Marma chikitsa (a different methodology for treatment of certain ailments which is mentioned in Ayurveda) and it is indicated specially for pain management and paresis.
My mission is to spread the knowledge of our ancient science Ayurveda and make it more accessible to the common man. Ayurveda is not only a system of medicine; it is a ‘way of life’, and it is indeed this message that I want to relay by way of my blogsite!
